CISC 260: Programming Paradigms WebCT Instructions Winter 2006

The WebCT site for CISC 260 provides a few additional tools:

• A "forum" which provides you with an opportunity to post questions/comments/gripes which may be answered by your instructors, TAs or fellow students.
• An area for posting your course marks in a secure way

To enter the WebCT area:

1. Go to http://www.its.queensu.ca/webct/, click on "Log In". Enter your QLink id as your "Queen's NetID", and use your original Qlink password.
2. You can click on "Manage Bookmarks" and add some of your own personal bookmarks to your "myWebCT" page if you wish.
3. You should see CISC 260 in the list of courses on your "myWebCT page". If you do not, there are a few possible reasons:
   • Classes haven't started yet. We don't get a class list until the first day of classes.
   • You added the course in the last day or two and your name hasn't made it into WebCT's list yet.
   If you're registered in CISC 260 and neither of the above apply, contact me and I can add you manually to the WebCT class list. Be sure to include your name, student id number and qlink ID.
4. Click on the CISC 260 link to enter our WebCT area.
