The CISC-462 final exam is on Monday December 10 at 7:00 PM.
Please consult the exam timetable for the room location.

The final examination is a three hour closed-book exam.

Aids allowed: You may bring in one 8.5x11 inch sheet of paper
        containing notes, and use it during the exam.
        The sheet can have notes written on both sides.

        Note: Please follow the above instructions precisely.
        The exam proctors will not allow any exceptions to the rule
        concerning aids.

The exam covers everything covered in the course.
This includes textbook chapters:
        3, 4, 5, 7, 8 and from chapter 9
	sections 9.1 and 9.3,
as well as the material in the posted lecture notes. Note that much
of the material relies on properties of finite automata and
context-free grammars (chapter 1 and 2) and it is important
to know well these concepts.

In preparation for the exam it would be useful to review the
assignments.

A tutorial going through the practice exam solutions has been
scheduled for Tuesday December 4, 2:00 - 4:00 PM in Kinesiology 107.
The tutorial will be held by the TA Taylor Smith.
