Lecture 8Review of Linear Algebra
Today we began by reviewing last year's quiz. I
was asked to go over all of the questions on the quiz.
Following the review of the quiz we turned our attention to linear algebra. In this course we will study numerical issues that arise when solving systems of linear equations. Thus it is worthwhile to brush up on some basics in linear algebra. I have been following (more or less) the course notes for chapter 7 provided by Recktenwald the author of NMM http://www.me.pdx.edu/~gerry/nmm/course/ . Tomorrow you write the first quiz.
