I'm just a neuron in the society collective brain. Totally believe in Matt Ridley's analysis stating that ideas must mate for a society to develop. So if you want to cooperate, just send me a mail ;)

I received my B.Sc. in 2006 and M.Sc. in 2011 both in Computer Engineering (Networks) from the Dept. of Information Technology, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, Egypt where I also worked as an Assistant Lecturer for 4 years.

Currently, I'm an IBM CAS researcher and a member of the Database Systems Lab (DSL) and the NSERC CREATE ULSS graduate specialization program, working on my PhD on Big Data Analytics under the supervision of Prof. Patrick Martin at the School of Computing, Queen's University. I'm also working as a part-time Computer Assistant for the Queen's University International Centre (QUIC).

Previously, I was a member of the ANSR Research Lab, 4G++ Research Group, the Department of Network Administration (DNA) Research Team. I'm also one of the coofounders of the Cloud Computing reading group, one of the co-founders of the Teaching & Instructing Center (TIC) for instructors preparation and the EMC Academic Alliance program coordinator at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University. I'm the developer of the HSBT NS2 high speed Bluetooth simulation model.

My main research interests include Big Data Analytics, Cloud Computing Resource Provisioning, and Information Storage.
