I am Tarek M. Ahmed, a PhD Student at the database lab in the school of computing, Queen's university. I am working under the supervision of Prof. James Cordy and Dr. Farhana Zulkernine. My research interests are streaming data analytics, dynamic resource provisioning and machine learning.
I am originally from Cairo, Egypt. Since I graduated from Cairo University I have been working in academia as a teaching assistant in the Faculty of computers and information, Cairo university; And in industry as a senior software engineer in leading software companies. I have a wide experience in telecommunications business in addition to other businesses such as stock markets and healthcare industry.

My topic title is Classifier Fusion Techniques using Quality Measures working under supervision of Dr. Neamat El-Gayar. I published and presented two papers in Cairo and in Montreal.
Graduated from Information Technology department with a grade of Excellent with Honors. I joined the staff as a teaching assistant.
