I am Tarek M. Ahmed, a PhD Student at the database lab in the school of computing, Queen's university. I am working under the supervision of Prof. James Cordy and Dr. Farhana Zulkernine. My research interests are streaming data analytics, dynamic resource provisioning and machine learning.
I am originally from Cairo, Egypt. Since I graduated from Cairo University I have been working in academia as a teaching assistant in the Faculty of computers and information, Cairo university; And in industry as a senior software engineer in leading software companies. I have a wide experience in telecommunications business in addition to other businesses such as stock markets and healthcare industry.
