Work Experience

From 2010 to date, I have held a post-doctoral fellowship at Lakes Environmental Software, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, partially funded by NSERC IRDF. At Lakes I do research and development of geometric algorithms for computer graphics and scientific visualization of pollution in the air

From 2004 to 2009, I held the following positions as a Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant at Queen's University:

From 2000 to 2004, I worked as an Instructor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Department of Computer Science, University of Havana, Cuba. Meanwhile, I was involved in the following research and development projects:

  • 2000-2001 Socrates: Application for the management and visualization of spatial data.

  • 2001-2004 Latino: Geographic Information System (GIS) jointly with SGRIN S.A. from the Spanish Firm CADIC S.A.
