questions asked of academic advisers.
SODE Writing Requirement
Both Software Design (SODE) options require a course with a substantial
writing requirement -- at least 50% of the grade must be based on
writing. There is a list of suggestions in the degree plan, but you can
petition the undergraduate chair (currently me) for a substitution.

You should submit a grading scheme for the course or clear evidence (such as
e-mail from the instructor) that the course does have at least 50% of the
