I am a PhD student at SAIL in Queen's University. I completed my B.Eng (Electrical Engineering) and my MASc. at the University of Victoria.
During my undergraduate degree I did an internship at TELUS working as a Desktop Support Technician. Then, I worked at RIM (maker of the BlackBerry) for 16 months working as a Software Testing Associate. More recently, I worked as a Software Researcher with RIM's Blackberry Enterprise Server development group where I investigated software architecture and quality issues.
Aside from school, I have interest in stock trading. In particular, I am a strong believer in using Technical Analysis to trade stocks.
For fun (and in the little time I have), I like to play soccer, roller blade, cook (whenever my wife lets me) and workout. I love Arabic and Greek food. In the future I plan to tour the Middle East and perhaps see my home land (Palestine).
