Research in Information Security, Kingston (RISK) |
RISK is a Queen's and RMC Interdisciplinary Research Centre for research
into all aspects of information security. It's members are:
- David Skillicorn (Coordinator), School of Computing, Queen's
Data mining for counterterrorism and fraud.
- Yolande Chan, School of Business, Queen's
Knowledge management, information privacy and surveillance.
- Tom Dean, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering,
Queen's
Network security.
- Scott Knight, Electrical Engineering, Royal Military College
Head, Computer Security Lab
Computer and network security.
- Mohammad Zulkernine, School of Computing, Queen's
Intrusion Detection, software security engineering.
Members of the centre collaborate on research projects, and supervise
graduate students doing interdisciplinary research in areas related
to information security. Joint seminars are also held.
Potential graduate students wanting to work in areas related to information
security should approach whichever members of the group seem most
appropriate.
