About Me
I am an Assistant Professor at the Queen's University School of Computing. My current research focus is on building user authentication systems that overcome the security and usability challenges faced by current systems. I completed my PhD at the School of Computer Science at Carleton University, and my thesis was on supplementary web authentication mechanisms for strengthening password-based web authentication. I am also interested more generally in research challenges surrounding Internet security, systems security, and in computer networks and communications. I completed my B.Eng. in Communications Engineering and my M.A.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a thesis on energy-saving schemes for cellular networks. Prior to joining Queen's University, I was a faculty member at the University of Toronto Mississauga.
