Hua Xiao is a Ph.D. Candidate in School of Computing, at Queen's University. He is a CAS Ph.D. student fellow at IBM Canada and has been collaborating with IBM in the area of service oriented computing since 2007. His research interests include supporting end-users in service discovery and composition, automated service composition, context-aware service recommendation and business process simulation. Dr. Ying(Jenny) Zou is his supervisor. His supervisory committee include Dr. Ying Zou, Dr. James R. (Jim) Cordy and Dr. Thomas R. Dean . Hua Xiao Received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in computer science from Harbin Institute of Technology and Beijing University of Technology respectively in China.
Hua Xiao defensed his PH.D. thesis on August 29, 2011. His PH.D. thesis title is "End-user driven service composition for Constructing personalized service oriented Applications". Currently, he is working at IBM Canada Lab (Toronto).
