Welcome
to my small home on the Web. My name is Nidal Nasser. I'm
originally from Lebanon, which is a very small country that
carries a lot of people. I was born and raised in the State
of Kuwait, which is a very nice country, but it is too hot.
I
received my B.Sc.(Aug. 1996) and M.Sc. (Feb. 1999) degrees
in Computer
Engineering from Kuwait
University. The supervisor for my Master degree was Prof.
Kassem Saleh who is currently the Chair of the
Department of Computer Science at the American
University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
I received my Ph.D. (Aug. 2004) from the School
of Computing at Queen's
University, Canada. I am a member of the Wireless Communications
Group of the Telecommunications Research Laboratory which is directed by Dr.
Hossam Hassanein. I started off in this school as
a Master student on Sept. 2000. I was promoted to the Ph.D.
program at the same school on May 2001.
My
current research area is wireless communication networks and systems. You can find out
more about my research by clicking here.
