Step 1: Reading
Read the required readings (section 2 of the courseware) relating to the Ariane 5 disaster.

Step 2: Writing
Write a brief essay in reaction to the reading you've just done. In particular, list the factors that you feel contributed to the Ariane 5 crash. Give evidence from the Ariane 5 report to back up your claims.

Your submission must be typed or printed in 12-point font (not handwritten). It should be no more than one page long.
